From which age do you offer dance classes?
For the moment I offer classes from the age of 2 until 9 years old. Is your child interested but older than 9, please contact me by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp.
Can my child do a trial class before enrolling?
Yes! Your child's first class always counts as a trial class and the parent can watch the class too! Participating in a trial class incurs no extra fee. Should you choose to enroll, regular class fees will apply. If you decide not to continue after the trial, there will be no charges incurred. Book a trial class through the contact form or call/message me on 076-3750122
What if I don't see a class that works for my schedule?
I will consider adding an additional class to the schedule, if space allows, if you can bring 3 or more dancers who want to take that class. Otherwise, you can add a wish list class by contacting me through the contact form or WhatsApp, with enough requests for the same class/time, I can potentially add the class.
Do you accept boys?
Absolutely yes! All my classes are suitable for both boys and girls.
Where can I get the uniform and ballet shoes?
After you've enrolled your child to one of the Kids Ballet classes, you can purchase a uniform from me. Just give me your child's shoe size and we can do a fitting 10 minutes before class or you can make an appointment with me. You can find the uniform price list here.
Is the uniform compulsory?
From age 4 a uniform is compulsory. I believe that wearing uniforms give students a sense of belonging to the family as well as creating an identity for my studio in the greater community. Uniforms are compulsory for classes from age 4.
Uniforms also
• Encourage discipline
• Help students resist peer pressure to buy stylish clothes for class
• Help identify non-students in the studio
• Diminish economic and social barriers between students
• Increase a sense of belonging and school pride
• Improve attendance
Uniforms can be purchased all year round.
Can I watch the classes?
A parent can always watch the trial classes. Every season around December we have open classes where parents, grand parents, siblings and friends are welcome to watch the class. Would you like to watch an extra class just come to me before class!
How is information relayed to parents?
